A2Z Security Systems is a wholly Irish owned company, constantly reinvesting in the local economy. The company was founded after having carried out an in depth study of the Irish Security Industry and its deficiencies. A2Z Security Systems was formed to provide a comprehensive and cost effective solution to the problems that were highlighted. Since then, to maximise the usage of technology and meet the needs of Wicklow, Wexford and Dublin, A2Z Security Systems continues to provide a network of technical support through out the entire region. A2Z Security Systems have installed and serviced in excess of 1,000 security systems, predominantly Intruder Alarms, Closed Circuit Television and Fire Alarms, utilising the best practise and proven technical innovation thus minimising loss and disruption caused by crime.

C.C.T.V. Systems

Spurious Insurance claims are now the prime threat to the viability of any business dealing with the public and can only be or disproved by high quality cameras recorded on digital recorders. The visible presence of an A2Z CCTV Security System will often discourage potential spurious claims and eliminate the problem at source.<[p>

Protecting staff from attack during normal working hours is vitally important. Quality C.C.T.V. installations act as a primary deterrent against such attacks. With this in mind A2Z Security Systems have devoted considerable time and resources to enhancing our technical capability, in this most important security discipline. Additional applications for C.C.T.V. include Internal Audit, Shrinkage Prevention and most importantly assisting in countering spurious Public Liability claims.

Access Control Systems

The ability to be able to allow or to restrict individuals access to designated areas without having to be accompanied, is both practical and cost effective. Access Control Systems, single and multi-door with swipe card, P.I.N. number or proximity readers are part of A2Z Security Systems’ approach to Access Control.
These systems can be computerised achieving records enunciating alarms and tracking individuals. When computerised it is possible to have a complete range of parameters, time zones, holidays, restricted access and audit trails.

Fire Alarm System

All of our Fire Alarm Systems are installed to IS 3218. This standard is your assurance of our commitment. A2Z Security Systems have installed systems of varying complexity, from manual single zone, to fully automatic addressable systems installed in large complexes. When connected to communication equipment, early warning is guaranteed, thus minimising your potential loss.

Health and Safety

A2Z Security Systems regards health and safety issues to be of paramount importance. The responsibility for Health and Safety management is held at director level. Continuous instruction and training is given on site. All our staff members have successfully attended “Safepass” courses.

Our Directors

Fergus ÓConchobhair BSc, Sea Breeze, Greenhill Rd., Co. Wicklow. Our Managing Director, Fergus ÓConchobhair BSc, has worked in intruder alarms, fire alarms, CCTV and Access control for the past thirty years. Starting as a service engineer he worked his way up the industry to become a key player in the development of some of the leading security companies in Ireland. Now heading up A2Z Security Systems, instilling in the company the dedication to customer service and business excellence that has brought him to where he is today.

Ronan ÓConchobhair, River Walk, Ashford, Co. Wicklow Ronan O'Conchobhair has considerable alarm technical experience and a diploma in web database management, making his speciality remote data transmission and CCTV video storage.
